Liverpool have rejected a £40million offer for star striker Luis Suarez from Premier League rivals Arsenal. The Gunners are believed to have already had bids of £30million and £35million turned down for the Uruguayan.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is hopeful that the controversial striker will be at Anfield next season. Suarez’s agent Pere Guardiola, brother of Bayern boss Pep, has revealed that Suarez wants to play Champions League football, but will not push for a move.
Suarez has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid and has revealed his liking of the club from the Spanish capital.
