It’s been a quiet transfer window so far for Jurgen Klopp’s bombastic Liverpool side. And, with the Red Men miles and miles ahead of closest title challengers Manchester City in the league, there’s an argument to be heard that they don’t need any new faces at all.
But football fans will always have an insatiable appetite for transfers and the rumours circulating that Liverpool are interested in highly-rated Wolves winger Adama Traore will be sure to get the blood pumping on Merseyside.
Traore has been simply sensational this season. The Spanish wide-man has scored four times and assisted seven in the league this season, already more than ten times his tally in the league in the previous campaign. This excellent return is probably the reason Wolves have slapped a reported asking price of £75-million on their man.
If Liverpool were to sign him, it would probably have to be in the summer window as Nuno Espirito Santo is unlikely to be willing to let his star man go at the mid-point of the season, especially with the club chasing European football for a second successive season.
