Liverpool have triggered a £13m release clause to sign Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City.
The Switzerland international has signed a five-year contract with the Anfield club, and Shaqiri will wear the number 23 shirt.
Shaqiri joined Stoke from Inter Milan for £12m and despite Stoke being relegated from the Premier League last season he still managed to hit eight goals for The Potters.
Shortly after Stoke were relegated, it was reported that Shaqiri wanted to leave Stoke and sign for a Premier League club.
Liverpool have been busy so far this summer already signing Monaco midfielder Fabinho for £39m, Naby Keita from RB Leipzig and now Shaqiri from Stoke City.
