It has been reported that Liverpool will sign former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato in January, according to his current club’s president.
According to Corinthians chief Robero de Andrade, there is “an agreement in principle” and if the deal goes ahead Pato is set to become Jurgen Klopp’s first signing as Liverpool manager.
26 year old Pato was once regarded as one of the most exciting young players in world football and he scored 63 goals in 150 appearances for AC Milan.
In 2013, Pato signed for Corinthians for a fee of €15 million (£12.18m) on a four-year deal.
