French giants Olympique Lyonnais have slapped a £16m tag on their goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. Lloris, who captained the French national team at Euro 2012, is reportedly wanted by Arsenal as well as their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. OL have revealed that they would be willing to sell one of their prize assets should the price be right.
Tottenham look the more interested of the two, especially with new manager Andre Villas-Boas wanting a long term replacement for ageing stoppers Brad Friedel and Carlo Cudicini.
Nice born Lloris, 25, joined Lyon in 2008 and has been capped by France at U-18, U-19, U-20 and U-21 levels early in his career. He is a three time winner of the Ligue 1 goalkeeper of the year award.
