Blackpool have completed the signing of Maltese international Daniel Bogdanovic from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee. The 31 year old striker has penned a one year deal with the Seasiders with the option of an additional year. Bodganovic only joined Sheffield United last summer from Barnsley but was a regular for the Blades in the 2010/11 season.
The transfer marks the return of Bogdanovic to the Championship. Sheffield United were relegated from the Championship last season while Blackpool are in the Championship this season following their demotion from the Premier League.
Bogdanovic expressed delight at the move, saying that he had always admired the way Blackpool played their football and was very impressed with their style of play when he featured against them as a Barnsley player.
