It is reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might be interested in signing Jadon Sancho in the January transfer window. It is believed that the Red Devils are preparing a bid of around £100million to get the Borussia Dortmund winger to sign for them.
Following the sale of Romelu Lukaku, Manchester United are short on attacking players with only Martial and Rashford as recognised strikers. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will feel that the addition of Jadon Sancho to the team will help boost his attacking options and help the team mount a serious push for Champions League qualification.
However, things will not be that easy with Jadon Sancho just signing a new contract with the German club which will see him earn around £190,000-a-week. This comes as a reward for the England international who has made a great debut to the season by scoring two goals and making two assists in only three games.
Borussia Dortmund know that Manchester United are interested in the player and will do everything they can to keep their star.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on the other hand, is desperate to improve Manchester United as he knows that the current team is far behind the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City and that if they do not invest massively in new players they risk falling further behind teams such as Tottenham Hotspur and even Arsenal.
Jadon Sancho has impressed in the Bundesliga since making his debut for Borussia Dortmund and has attracted suitors all around Europe. However, it is Manchester United that has shown the most interest in the player.
The Red Devils will hope that the attractiveness of the Premier League will be able to lure the player and make him accept a move to a club that is still a work in progress.
