The Red devils have completed the loan signing of Colombia striker Radamel Falcao from French club Monaco. The loan deal will cost Man Utd an initial £6 million loan fee plus the players wages.
Falcao who joined Monaco for £50 million last year had been linked with a host of European clubs during the summer these include Arsenal and Real Madrid.
Falcao’s season-long loan will cost the Old Trafford club a staggering £24 million in total, with the player’s £265,000-a-week wages being paid in full by United.
The 28-year-old has scored 11 goals in 17 appearances for Monaco since joining from Atlético Madrid back in May 2013.
