Germany international winger Marko Marin has joined Spanish outfit Sevilla on a season-long loan deal. Marin only joined Chelsea from Werder Bremen last summer for £7million, but has not been able to feature as a first team regular at Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Eden Hazard, Oscar, and Juan Mata blocking his route to the Blues starting eleven.
Sevilla have brought in Marin to fill the void left by Spanish international Jesus Navas, who joined Manchester City earlier this season.
Chelsea have also allowed Dutch international centre-back Jeffrey Bruma join Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven for £2.5million. The 21-year-old had previously enjoyed loans spells at Hamburg and Leicester in the past. Bruma has signed a four-year contract with the Dutch club.
The Blues are one of the big clubs interested in signing highly rated attacking midfielder Julian Draxler from Schalke. The 19-year-old is the youngest ever player to reach a century of appearances for Schalke.
Draxler has only just signed a new five-year-old contract with Schalke, but the highly rated star is still being linked with a move to a bigger European club. Spanish giants Real Madrid are also being linked with signing Draxler.
