Serie A giants AC Milan could be set to sign Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. The Rossoneri have made an enquiry about the Dane’s availability and could follow that up with a bid before the transfer window shuts on Friday.
Bendtner has made no secret of his desire to leave the Emirates and the Italian giants could be an attractive destination. Bendtner spent last season on-loan at Sunderland, but the Black Cats decided not to sign the Danish international on a permanent deal.
Bendtner’s compatriot Nicolai Boilesen is attracting the interesting of the Gunners. The Ajax full-back is rated at £5million and is also believed to be attracting the interest of Premier League Southampton. Arsenal were poor at the back last season and it was thought that new defenders would be one of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger’s priorities this summer.
