Fulham are on the verge of completing their second major loan signing of the winter transfer market after it emerged that they were in advanced talks with unsettled Milan star Urby Emanuelson. The versatile Emanuelson, who can play in both defence and midfield, will be in London till the end of the season, but the Cottagers do not have an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the loan spell.
Emanuelson used to play for Ajax before making his switch to Milan. He has played under Martin Jol before at the Amsterdam Arena and has also been capped 16 times by the Dutch national team.
Fulham have already signed up Emmanuel Frimpong on a similar loan deal from Arsenal.
