Arsenal’s young Japanese forward Ryo Miyaichi has joined Wigan Athletic on loan, the Gunners have announced. The teenager will be with the Latics for the entire duration of the 2012-13 season as he aims to pick up more first team experience under Roberto Martinez at the DW Stadium.
Miyaichi joined Arsenal in 2011 and has already undergone two loan stints- one with Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie and the other with Bolton Wanderers.
Miyaichi has already made his senior Japanese debut, coming on as a substitute earlier this year in a 2-0 win for the Blue Samurai against Azerbaijan
Miyaichi’s arrival at the North-West outfit may pave the way for Victor Moses’ departure, with Chelsea FC touted to be a possible destination for the in-demand star.
