Dutch giants Feyenoord Rotterdam have completed the signing of Serbian midfielder Stefan Babovic on a season long loan from French outfit Nantes.
The 22 year old opted to move to the Netherlands in order to get regular football and keep his hopes of featuring in the 2010 World Cup alive. Another reason Feyenoord chose him is because of his powerful left foot. Feyenoord boss Mario Been was quoted as saying that the club did not have too many left footed players.
Babovic is a product of the Partizan youth academy, and joined Nantes from OFK Beograd last year.
