Manchester United and Liverpool are both said to be interested in securing the services of Mexican medio Hector Herrera. Herrera, 23, currently plays for Pachuca in his native Mexico and was part of the El Tri squad that won the Mens Football tournament at the 2012 London Olympics earlier this month.
Pachuca director Andres Fassi admitted that there was official interest from both the North-West giants, with Liverpool and Man United having both talked to the club.
Fassi also said that he would not stand in the way of a move for Herrera, nicknamed Zorro in Mexico, if the player himself wanted to move clubs.
Herrera is reportedly valued at around £10m by both the clubs.
