Norwich have made their sixth signing of the summer, by bringing in Holland international midfielder Leroy Fer from FC Twente for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £7million. Fer is highly-rated and recently took part in the under-21 European Championships with his country.
The midfielder was on the verge of joining Everton in the winter transfer window, but a problem with his medical meant that the Toffees decided not to conclude a prospective £8million deal.
Norwich have though missed out on Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld. The Belgium international turned down a £6.9million move to Carrow Road.
