Newly promoted Premier League club Norwich City have completed the signing of midfielder Bradley Johnson from Leeds. Johnson, 24, moves to the Canaries on a free transfer after his contract with Leeds expired on June 30, 2011. He has put pen to paper a three year contract at Carrow Road.
Johnson was best known last season among Premier League observers for his wonder strike against Arsenal in the FA Cup ( check out the video if you’ve not done that already). That goal earned him Leeds’ Goal of the Season award. The Whites had originally put Johnson up for sale in January after the player decided not to sign a new contract last year, but manager Simon Grayson eventually chose to keep him in order to provide cover in midfield.
With Johnson’s signing, Norwich have now taken their list of summer acquisitions to five.
