Exeter City have completed the signing of Irish striker John O’Flynn on a free transfer. The 28 year old was a free agent after the expiry of his contract with Barnet FC.
O’Flynn was the subject of a £100,000 bid from Barnet’s League Two rivals Shrewsbury Town in the winter transfer window, but rejected the offer and chose to let his contract with the Bees expire. The Cobh born forward scored 29 times in 70 appearances for Barnet after joining them in 2008 from Cork City.
O’Flynn also recently had a trial with Bristol City, but the Robins chose not to pursue their interest in him.
