Olympiakos have made a bid for Blackburn Rovers’ Argentine midfielder Mauro Formica. The Greek giants wish to take the unsettled playmaker on loan till the end of the season and have entered into talks with Blackburn over the same. Rovers boss Steve Kean has indicated that he doesn’t want to sell his key players but his hand may be forced as Formica’s already announced that he hasn’t been able to adjust to life in England.
However Rovers fans aren’t expected to be too pleased with Formica’s exit. The only other genuine player in the Argentine’s position is David Dunn, who has had his problems with injuries in recent times.
The 23 year old Formica joined Blackburn from Newell’s Old Boys last season.
