Leyton Orient have taken Tom Clarke on loan from Huddersfield Town for a period of three months. The 23 year old Clarke is primarily a midfielder who can also operate in defence if required. Clarke was part of the Huddersfield Town that reached the playoffs final last season, where the Terriers lost to Darren Ferguson’s Peterborough United.
Clarke has struggled to rack up appearances for Huddersfield this season and manager Lee Clark was willing to let him go out on loan. As per the terms of his loan deal, Clarke will be ineligible to face Huddersfield.
Clarke is expected to make his Orient debut this weekend when the O’s take on Colchester United.
