Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has completed his long awaited switch to Lokomotiv Moscow by signing a three and a half year contract with the Russian Premier League outfit. The fee Lokomotiv paid for Pavlyuchenko’s services was not revealed, but sources have it to be around the £8m mark.
With the Russian window still open, Russian skipper Andrei Arshavin is also expected to follow his team-mate back to Russia. Anzhi and Zenit have already expressed their interest in taking Arshavin back and with his popularity at the Emirates at an all time low, the playmaker may chose to go back to Russia to reinvigorate himself ahead of the 2012 European Championships.
Wenger is said to prefer Arshavin to stay, but the final decision may lie with the Russian himself.
