Portsmouth have completed the signing of Norwegian striker Erik Huseklepp from Italian outfit Bari. The 26 year old moves for an undisclosed fee ( reported to be around £1.5m) and has put pen to paper a three year contract at Fratton Park. Huseklepp was looking for a move away from Bari, whom he joined only in January 2011 from Brann, after failing to settle in Italy and had also attracted the attention of Glasgow giants Celtic.
Huseklepp is now a regular with the Norwegian national team and recently scored the winning goal when they upset Portugal in Euro 2012 qualifying. He made a total of fourteen appearances for Bari and netted two times for them in his stay in Italy.
