Swansea midfielder Darren Pratley has confirmed that he will be leaving the Liberty Stadium this summer. Pratley, who was part of the Swans 10/11 outfit that won promotion to the Premier League, announced that he was looking for a fresh challenge after five years with the club. Pratley had joined Swansea from Fulham FC in 2006 for a reported £100,000 fee. He also scored the goal that sent the Swans into the playoff final against Reading, a fixture they eventually won 4-2.
Pratley’s next destination is unclear but rumours have it that Bolton Wanderers are interested in securing his services.
With Pratley confirming his exit, Swansea are reportedly stepping up their interest in Spanish midfielder Marcos Senna, an integral part of La Furia Roja’s Euro 2008 winning campaign.
