French giants Paris Saint Germain are said to be in the running for Tottenham maestro Luka Modric and are more than willing to eclipse any bid made by Premier League runners up Manchester United. The Red Devils have already had a £22m bid rejected, but PSG are willing to splash out as much as £30m for the Croat, who is currently on national duty at Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.
Modric was a transfer target for Chelsea last summer but Spurs managed to hold on to their prized asset. Keeping him this season may prove to be more difficult as the Lilywhites again failed to make it to the Champions League. United want to add more teeth to midfield and Ferguson views the fleet flooted Modric as a perfect signing at OT.
