PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman is being linked with a summer move to the Premier League Manchester United. The Holland international star was being linked with a move to the Red Devils in the January transfer window, but his representative has denied that a move will happen in the winter transfer window.
Manchester United have lacked midfield options in recent years and it seems that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson sees Strootman as the answer to his midfield problems. Strootman is also being tracked by Italian giants AC Milan.
Strootman’s representative Chiel Dekker denied that the 22 year-old would be moving on in January by telling calciomercato.com: “Absolutely not. There is absolutely no truth in that. We are only in October. The only thing I can tell you is to call me back in April or May.”
“We all know that in football everything is possible. But at the moment it is useless to talk about the market.”
