Premier League strugglers QPR have confirmed former-Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp as their new boss. Mark Hughes was sacked earlier this week, after the clubs awful start to the season left the Hoops rock-bottom in the Premier League.
Hughes had brought in 12 twelve players into the QPR in the summer, but never managed to get the individuals to gel as a unit. Redknapp is noted for his man-management skills and will be hoping to turn things around very quickly.
Redknapp did a superb job at Spurs, guiding the North London club to fourth place finishes and Champions League football. When he took over at White Hart Lane Spurs were in the relegation zone and in a similar situation to QPR.
The QPR fans and board will be hoping that Redknapp can repeat the trick at Loftus Road, with the team in desperate need of inspiration.
