The likes of Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool are all said to be interested in Brighton midfielder Yves BIssouma, who has reportedly made clear his desire to leave the South Coast this summer. Bissouma has been at the Amex Stadium since 2018 since joining Albion from Lille, but has his heart set on a fresh challenge, and reports suggest a fee of around £30m could be enough to prise the Malian international away from the Seagulls.
Arsenal have been long linked with Bissouma, but the Gunners could be without European football next season given their current league place and their recent exit from the Europa League semi-finals against Villarreal, and that could play into the hands of both Liverpool and Manchester City, who are also keeping tabs on the 24-year-old’s progress.
Another interested team is reportedly Marseille, but whether Bissouma would be open to a return back to Ligue 1 and France remains to be seen.
Bissouma was born in Ivory Coast but represents Mali in international football, having made his first appearance for the national team back in 2015. He was part of the Malian side that reached the finals of AFCON 2016 and even scored the winning goal against the country of his birth in the semi-finals.
