Scottish Rangers have strengthened their squad with the addition of Greek defender Anestis Argyriou. The 24 year-old has signed a two-year deal at Ibrox after enjoying a trial spell with the club. Argyriou had been at Greek giants AEK Athens, but made just 11 appearances in two years at the club.
He is the seventh new arrival at Ibrox this summer, after a summer of upheaval that has saw most of the first team squad leave the Scottish giants. One player who looks set to leave the club is midfielder Maurice Edu.
The 26 year-old is set to move to Premier League Stoke, after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee and the midfielder agreed personal terms with the Potters. The USA international is now set to have a medical and seek international clearance for the move.
