Rangers have completed the signing of Senegalese forward El Hadji Diouf on loan from Blackburn Rovers till the end of the season. They have also confirmed that former Southampton striker James Beattie has been loaned out to Premiership newboys Blackpool till the end of the season.
Diouf is likely to make his Rangers debut in the Old Firm derby against Celtic in the Scottish Cup this weekend.
The signing of Diouf and David Healy strengthens Rangers’ attack after the departure of top scorer Kenny Miller this winter.
On transfer deadline day, Rangers also announced the signing of young defender Kyle Bartley on loan from Arsenal.
