Burnley FC have completed the signing of Joseph Mills on loan from newly promoted Premier League side Reading. Mills, who recently agreed a new contract with the Royals that will keep him at the Madjeski till 2014, played fourteen times for the club last season. He is the younger brother of former Reading fan favourite Matt Mills, who now plays for Bolton Wanderers.
Mills becomes Burnley’s fourth signing of the summer after Luke O’Neill, George Porter and Jason Shackell and said he had made the move to get more playing time under his belt.
Mills, a Southampton youth product, has also had previous loan stints at Doncaster and Scunthorpe and has been capped by England at youth levels.
