Premier League strugglers Reading are preparing a £8million bid for Blackpool winger Tom Ince according to the People newspaper. The England under-21 has attracted attention from elsewhere due to his displays for the Tangerines this season and last season.
The 20 year-old has scored 15 goals in the Championship from his position on the wing for Ian Holloway’s men this season. Former-club Liverpool had been expected to re-sign the youngster, but it now seems the Reds have competition for Ince.
Welsh side Swansea City are also believed to be monitoring Ince’s situation at Bloomfield Road. However, it seems that Reading look to be in pole position to sign Paul Ince’s son. The Royals are on a good run of form and are now in with a good chance of staying in the top flight. The signing of Tom Ince would be a coup for the side from Berkshire.
