Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp may be asked to exit White Hart Lane after it emerged that he was in conflict with chairman Daniel Levy over a new contract. Redknapp has a year left on his current deal at the Lane and reportedly wants a three year contract, something Levy isn’t willing to concede. Levy is also reportedly upset at Spurs’ failure to qualify for the Champions League despite looking shoe-ins to do so at one point of time and is mulling over the option of sacking Redknapp.
If Levy does decide to go ahead and sack Redknapp, then Everton’s David Moyes, who like Redknapp is in the last year of his managerial contract, is considered as a favourite to take over the reins.
