According to media reports Wayne Rooney and DC United remain in talks over a possible deal for the Everton striker.
Rooney has been in talks with the MLS club since May even though Everton’s new boss Marco Silva is insisting Rooney still has a future at the club.
It is believed that 32 year old Rooney is in advanced talks and could be on the verge of signing a two-year, £3.8m-a-year deal with the Washington club.
Silva has been open for discussions with the former England striker but he admitted the final decision would rest with Rooney
