League Two side Rotherham have signed midfielder Adam Rundle from Rochdale on an emergency loan for a month. The Millers have signed the winger after midfielder Paul Warne suffered an ankle injury in the 2-0 victory over Torquay at the weekend.
Rundle joins midfielder Gary Roberts as a new signing at the Yorkshire club. Rundle is set to make his debut on Tuesday against Lincoln at the Don Valley Stadium. Rundle has lots of experience in the lower leagues having already played for Darlington and Carlisle.
Rundle told the clubs official website: “The lads have made me feel welcome straight away. Obviously I knew a few of the lads from playing against them in my time, and everything went very well this morning. I know Adam Le Fondre from my Rochdale days and since Adam moved here we became best mates off the field.
“He has kept telling me how much he loves it here so it was nice to join up with him again today.”
The two clubs have done lots of business in recent months with striker Adam Le Fondre moving from Rochdale to Rotherham in the summer and Rotherham midfielder Jason Taylor also joined Rochdale last week in a loan deal.
