Premier League new-boys Reading have completed the signing of full-back Chris Gunter from Championship side Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee. The 22 year-old former-Tottenham star has signed a three-year deal at the Madejski Stadium.
The deal follows hot on the heels of the Royals securing the services of centre-back Adrian Mariappa from Championship side Watford earlier today.
Premier League Chelsea are close to signing Brazilian wonderkid Oscar for a fee in the region of £25million. The Internacional playmaker is currently in London to take part in the Olympics with his national team.
Chelsea have refused to confirm whether the deal is nearly complete, but Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo did admit that he was a big admirer of the player. Oscar is regarded as one of the brightest young players in world football.
