Queens Park Rangers are said to be very close to completing the signing of Taiye Taiwo from AC Milan. The former Marseille left back is expected to join the R’s on a six month loan deal from the Rossoneri till the end of the season and is awaiting the necessary clearance for his move. QPR reportedly also have the option to make the deal permanent in the summer.
If the deal goes through, it represents a major coup for QPR and their new manager Mark Hughes, for Taiwo was linked with the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool not too long ago.
The 26 year old Taiwo joined Milan in 2009 but has found opportunities difficult to come by in recent times.
