Spanish international midfielder Santi Cazorla could be set for a move to Premier League Arsenal. The Gunners are believed to have put in a bid of around £18million for the midfielder and could complete the signing by the end of the week according to reports.
Malaga have spent heavily in the last few seasons under mega-rich owner Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani. However, the club that finished fourth in La Liga last season are believed to owe up to £40million in unpaid tax and wages.
The Sheikh is believed to be negotiating the sale of the club to Albanian businessman Rezart Taci. Cazorla has made clear to his club that he wants to move to Arsenal and it looks likely that he will get his wish.
Cazorla made his name at Villarreal, before moving to Malaga last summer for a fee in the region of £18million.
