Sheffield United are still hopeful of signing of the Rangers duo of Kyle Hutton and John Fleck on loan. The Blades had reached an agreement with the Gers for the duo to stay at Bramall Lane on loan till the end of the season but the deal missed Wednesday’s 11pm deadline.
However United are blaming technical problems for the deal not going through and are going to appeal to ratify the deals.
Reports in the Scottish Press are linking Partick Thistle with a loan swoop for the duo incase their transfers to Sheffield United do not go through. If United lose their appeal, then Hutton and Fleck must either stay with Rangers or move to another Scottish club but not an English club.
