Morecambe have completed the signing of striker Richard Brodie on loan. The 25 year old, who has a year left on his current contract with Crawley Town, will move to the Globe Arena for an initial period of six months. Brodie spent last season on loan ( reportedly a five figure loan fee was involved) at Fleetwood Town, helping them win the Blue Square Premier League title and promotion to League Two.
Gateshead born Brodie has also represented the likes of Whickham, Newcastle Benfield, York City and AFC Barrow in his career.
Brodie will be competing with the likes of Danny Carlton, Kevin Ellison, Jordan Burrow and Jack Redshaw for a starting spot at Morecambe.
