Arsenal central defender Sol Campbell has spoken out on his desire on a move to Scottish Giants Celtic.
The former England star said he is very honored that a great club like Celtic have shown interest in him but that he his happy to stay at Arsenal.
Campbell who rejoined Arsenal last season after a short spell with Notts County has been offered another year on his contract with the Gunners.
It is thought that Campbell who held talks with Celtic is keen only if current interim Celtic boss Neil Lennon is given the job on a permanent basis.
Campbell said: “I’ve spoken with Neil about moving to Celtic. And I’ve been impressed with what he had to say,”
“We’re talking, although we haven’t yet discussed figures. Nothing is set in stone.”
He added: “I know Celtic are a massive club. I have to consider them. You can’t ignore it when such a fantastic club makes their interest known.”
