Former Man Utd striker and current Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stepped down from his role as manager after just nine months in charge of the Welsh club.
Cardiff currently sit 17th in the Championship Table after three defeats in seven games, including Tuesday’s 1-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough and a 4-2 loss against Norwich City.
Tony Pulis is the favorite with most bookies to take charge, however the former Crystal Palace manager has said he has not been approached by Cardiff.
Solskjaer who made over 200 apperances for Utd as a player was appointed manager back in January 2014, while Cardiff where 3rd bottom in the Premier League Table and facing relegation.
Solskjaer could not get them out of trouble, and they were eventually relegated from the Premier League.
Owner Vincent Tan said: “Regrettably our recent results do not justify Ole’s continued role as manager at Cardiff.”
