Sporting Lisbon winger Jeffren is being linked with a move to Premier League Liverpool. The former-Barcelona wide man is highly-rated, although he has struggled since moving to the Spanish capital last year. He has started just one game for Sporting this season.
Jeffren made a bright start to his career with some eye-catching performances for Spanish giants Barca. However, due to the quantity and quality of the players competing for a place in the Barcelona starting line-up he moved on.
Liverpool showed an interest last summer when he was available. A deal never materialised and he moved to the Portuguese top flight. Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to strengthen his wide options, as he is currently relying on youngsters Suso and Raheem Sterling.
Liverpool are also being linked with a move for Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair. The former-Swansea star has hardly had a look-in at the Etihad Stadium since his summer arrival and a loan move in January is being mooted.
