Crystal Palace keeper Julian Speroni has refused to rule out a move to fellow Championship side Queens Park Rangers. The Argentinian’s former-boss Neil Warnock is with the London club and he’s hoping to add him to his squad in the summer.
Warnock once talked about Speroni as the ‘best keeper in the Championship’. Warnock knows all too well the financial problems Palace are in as he only left the club a few months ago. However the financial situation is believed to be far better at his new club and he will be given money to spend to mount a promotion challenge next season.
Speroni’s contract expires in a year and is believed to be interested in working with Warnock again. He revealed: “I had a good time with Neil Warnock while he was here. I’ve got one more season on my contract here. Then, whatever happens will happen.”
Meanwhile Middlesbrough are being linked with a move for Dutch striker Ruud ter Heide. The 27 year-old is currently on-loan at second tier Dutch side Emmen from Cambuur. However he has a poor relationship with his Cambuur boss Stanley Menzo.
He told RTV: “I hope my future will be decided in the next few weeks. Things are also dependent on the trainer at Cambuur. If he stays, I would rather not go back again. It is no secret that we don’t like each other.”
