Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has admitted he is interested in signing Atletico Madrid star striker Diego Forlan.
Redknapp took a trip to Spain in midweek to check on the Uruguayan, and his interest does not appear to be declining after his visit to the Spanish capital on Thursday. Forlan played for Atletico in the 0-1 defeat to arch rivals Real Madrid in the Copa semis.
Redknapp is keen but confirmed however that Forlan would probably have to take a pay cut to join his side. Forlan has had 119 appearances for Atlético Madrid scoring 73 goals.
