Promising Chilean youngster Stefano Magnasco is set to have a trial at Bolton Wanderers later this week. The Universidad Catolica defender has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, most prominent among them being Chelsea, but has decided to snub the Blues in favour of the Trotters as he reportedly feels it will allow him to establish himself faster in the Premier League.
Magnasco will begin training with Bolton on Monday, just days after Owen Coyle’s side were humbled 5-0 by Manchester United in the Premier League.
Magnasco is primarily a right back and only recently signed a contract with Universidad.
