Stoke City are awaiting news on a potential transfer for Scott Dann after making an offer for the defender to Birmingham City. Potters manager Tony Pulis made the admission to the media and said that he was awaiting a response from the Blues, who were relegated to the Championship despite winning the Carling Cup last season.
While Birmingham have made no secret of the fact that they would like to keep Dann on their books, their relegation last season and interest from several other Premier League clubs means that they will have to let go of Dann at some point of time this summer.
Pulis has also said that he was interested in Dann’s Birmingham team mate, forward Cameron Jerome, but added that he was not looking to raid Birmingham because of their relegation.
