Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant has joined Championship side Wolves on a three-month emergency loan deal. Pennant has been a mainstay of the Potters team in recent years, but he has fallen down the pecking order at the Britannia Stadium and moved to the Midlands on a temporary deal.
The former-Arsenal and Liverpool winger has stated that he has no desire to leave the Potteries on a permanent deal and he has not fallen out with boss Tony Pulis, but he is moving to play regular first team football. Wolves are currently in good form in the second tier of the English game and are third in the Championship table.
However, Wolves are currently missing the attacking midfielders Slawomir Peszko, Razak Boukari and Stephen Hunt through injury. Pennant will offer Wolves another attacking option and he will hope to get some game time while he’s at Molineux.
