Swindon Town sign Tudur Jones on loan

League One strugglers Swindon Town have signed Welsh midfielder Owain Tudur Jones on a one month loan deal from Championship side Swansea City.

The 24 year old could make his debut for the Robins against Colchester on Tuesday night.

Tudur Jones has had limited opportunities to star at the Liberty Stadium this season. A knee injury didn’t help his cause either, and he is below the likes of Joe Allen and Guillem Bauza in the pecking order at Swansea.

Tudur Jones, who joined Swansea in July 2005 from Bangor City, was a key part of Swansea’s League One winning side in the 2007-08 season.

Swans boss Roberto Martinez has however insisted that Tudur Jones, who has been capped three times for Wales, has a future at Swansea.
