Blackpool have accepted a bid from Queens Park Rangers for DJ Campbell and have now given the Hoops permission to talk to the striker. Campbell, who was recently given the last squad number ( No.39) by the Tangerines despite rumours linking him with a move away from Bloomfield Road, will now discuss personal terms ahead of a move to the reigning Championship champions.
Campbell reportedly has a clause in his contract that allows any club willing to stump up £1.25m permission to discuss personal terms for a transfer. QPR have activated that clause and are hopeful of bringing him to Loftus Road.
QPR are playing in the top flight for the first time in 1996 after being crowned Npower Championship champions last season.
