Huddersfield Town have slapped an £8m tag on in demand striker Jordan Rhodes. The forward has already scored 40 goals to help Huddersfield reach the League One playoffs and manager Simon Grayson has insisted that the club will not listen to low ball offers.
Reports had earlier suggested that £3.5-4m would be enough to prise him away from the Galpharm Stadium, but Grayson rubbished the rumours, saying that it wouldn’t be enough to buy even his right boot.
A number of Premier League clubs are said to be in the running to sign the 22 year old Rhodes, with Fulham, Everton, Aston Villa, Norwich and Reading all said to be keeping tabs on the forward’s progress.
