Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez could be on his way out of the club this summer according to the Daily Star. The striker settled down last season and played a big part in the Citizens campaign, after going AWOL for much of the previous season.
It seemed that the Argentinian was now settled in Manchester and his homesickness had faded. However, it has now emerged that the striker could be on the move this summer with Italian champions Juventus believed to be leading the race for his signature.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester City has agreed a £34million deal with Shakhtar Donetsk for Brazilian playmaker Fernandinho. The midfielder has been seen in a Manchester hospital having medical checks ahead of the big money move.
Fernandinho impressed in the Champions League last season scoring against Chelsea in both Champions’ League group games, including the winner at the Donbass Arena. The 28-year-old had previously been linked with moves to Manchester United and Tottenham.
The Brazilian ace is hoping the move will enhance his chances of being selected for his national team for next year’s World Cup. He has made just five appearances for his country so far in his career and has revealed that playing in the Premier League should raise his profile.
